CENDAWAN DAN BUNCIS MASAK LEMAK KUNING / MUSHROOM, FRENCH BEANS IN YELLOW CREAMY GRAVY


I really love this dish. Never thought this mushroom suit "masak lemak". I remembered my mum used to cook the smaller version of mushroom named "cendawan sisir" for this recipe. I saw this dish in one of the food blog and decided to replicate this at home. I added some French beans and fresh shrimps with turmeric leave.

INGREDIENTS
2 bowls mushroom / 2 mangkok cendawan tiram
10 French beans cut 2" / 10 batang buncis potong 2"
2 red chilies - sliced thinly / 2 biji cili merah hiris halus
1/2 cup fresh shrimps / 1/2 cawan udang hidup
1 turmeric leave / 1 helai daun kunyit
1 lemongrass- crushed / 1 batang serai dititik
2 cups coconut milk / 2 cawan santan
2 cups water / 2 cups water
1 tamarind skin / 1keping asam keping
Grounded Ingredients
17 bird's eyes chilies / 17 biji cili padi
1 onion / 1 biji bawang besar
2" turmeric root / 2" kunyit hidup

Blend all into paste / Blend semua bahan.

PREPARATION

Bring the water to a boil in a large pot. Add the Lemongrass and Turmeric leave. Add blended ingredients. Simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes./ Renehkan air di dalam periuk. Masukkan serai daun kunyit dan bahan giling. Renehkan selama 10-15 minit.

Then add the coconut milk and shrimps pieces. Bring the soup to a boil and mix in the mushrooms french beans,red chilies, tamarind skin and continue to cook for another 15 to 20 minutes. / Masukkan santan dan udang. Renehkan lagi dan masukkan kacang buncis, cendawan, cili merah dan asam keping. Masukkan garam secukup rasa.

Serve immediately/ Sedia dihidang.

Hajat hati nak makan Cendawan Sisir Masak Lemak bersama keledek, tapi susah sekarang ni nak dapat cendawan sisir. kebetulan jalan-jalan blogging nampak ramai kekawan memasak Masak Lemak Cendawan Tiram, jadi saya pun cuba. Tak sangka sedap betul bila Cendawan Tiram ini dimasak lemak. Biasanya cendawan ini saya masak buat sayur atau buat sup aje.Untuk resipi ini saya masukkan sedikit kacang buncis dan udang hidup. Memang enak makan bersama nasi panas.

Salam Izah, memang sedap, ni Kak singgah kat dapur Izah la, terliur sangat, pas tu pi cari cendawan la. Anak-anak Kak yang payah makan sayur dan cendawan pun suka. Buncis tu Kak masuk sebab nak menceriakan warna.
