SQUID WITH HOISIN SAUCE /SOTONG GORENG HOISIN SOS



Undecided what to cook for lunch today??, Here are 2 recipes that you could consider. Simple and easy to prepare. Stir Fried Squid in Hoisin Sauce and Pumpkin, Spinach In Coconut Milk.

INGREDIENTS
500 g squids / 500 g sotong basah
1 leeks cut diagonal / 1 kucai bawang putih potong menyerong
10 bird's eys chilies / 10 biji cili padi
1 tomato slice thinly / 1 biji tomato buah hiris nipis-nipis
1 onion cut into ring / 1 biji bawang besar potong bulat
1/2 cup chicken stock / 1/2  cawan stok ayam
Seasoning
3 tbsp Hoisin Sauce/ 3 sdb sos Hoisin
1 tbsp pepper / 1 sdb lada sulah
1 tbsp garlic paste / 1 sdb pes bawang putih
1 tbsp ginger paste / 1 sdb pes halia.
1/2 tbsp turmeric powder / 1/2 sdb serbuk kunyit

PREPARATION
  1. Marinade squid with seasoning and keep aside. / Perapkan sotong dengan bahan perasa dan letak sebelah.
  2. In a wok, heat up oil. Stir fry the marinated squid. Add stock./ Panaskan minyak dan goreng sotong yang diperap. Masukkan stok.
  3. Add pepper and salts to taste. Cook until squids are done. Add in leeks, onion, tomato dan bird's eyes chilies./ Masukan lada dan garam secukup rasa.Akhir sekali masukan kucai bawang putih, tomato cili padi dan bawang besar.

Nak mantapkan lagi sudah tentulah kena buat sambal belacan. Sedap ini buah hidang sebelum anak-anak atau suami berangkat mengerjakan Solat Jumaat.
