club sandwich, also called a clubhouse sandwich or double-decker, is a sandwich with two layers of fillings between 3 slices of bread. It is often cut into quarters and held together by cocktail sticks.
The traditional club ingredients are turkey on the bottom layer, and bacon, lettuce, and tomato on the top, sometimes specifically named a turkey club. Other common club sandwiches generally vary the bottom layer, for example a "chicken club" or a "roast beef club". Variations might include ham (instead of bacon), egg and/or additional cheese slices. As with a BLT sandwich, the club sandwich is usually served on toasted bread. Mayonnaise and mustard and sometimes honey mustard are common condiments. - Wkipedia.

It's good for when you have leftover turkey or chicken. And don't be limited by the ingredients here - add whatever else you like between the three slices of bread. I have some leftover hard boiled eggs from today Brekfast - I decided to do this club sandwich for our dinner. Today breakfast and lunch was quite heavy, it will be fine to have light dinner with Club Sandwiches. Mine is a real simple sandwich, with eggs, lettuce, fresh tomato, cucumber and mayo. You can use any of your favorite meat, cheese and dressing.
  • Bread, toasted -- 3 slices
  • Mayonnaise -- 3 tablespoons
  • Hard Boiled Eggs
  • Tomato -- 3 to 4 slices
  • Cucumber  -- 3 to 4 pieces
  • Lettuce -- 1 leaf
  1. Spread the mayonnaise on one side of each of the slices of bread.
  2. Spread the sliced eggs on one of the slices of bread. Top with another slice of bread.
  3. Lay the tomatoes over the second slice of bread. Top with the egg slices and the lettuce. Place the last slice of bread on top of that.
  4. About 1-inch in from each of the sides of the sandwich, insert a long toothpick. Carefully slice the sandwich on the diagonal into 4 triangles and serve with a side of potato chips.


  • Turkey Club: Use sliced turkey breast instead of chicken.
  • Add a sliced avocado.

Club sandwich adalah sandwich yang dibuat berlapis dengan menggunakan roti bakar.Menarik tentang sandwich ini ia menggunakan bahan-bahan lebihan. Untuk resipi ini saya menggunakan telur rebus dari lebihan sarapan pagi tadi - Lontong. Roti dilapis dan diselang seli dengan salad, tomato telur dan timun. Untuk sosnya saya menggunakan mayo. Satu lagi ciri penting Club sandwich ini ialah pencucuk yang digunakan bagi menahan sandwich.
