LEMON SPONGE CAKE


A mini sponge cake with lemon filling. Recipe heavily adapted from Anna Olson TV Program SUGAR. Two tips I learnt how to produce soft fluffy sponge cakes  from Anna were :

1. Before you whisk eggs, warm the eggs first. Anna soaked the eggs in warm water tap  for 1-2 minutes.
2. Scoop 2-3 ladle of batter into the melted butter, then pour the mixture into the batter

This sponge cake is soft and fluffy. A perfect sweet ending. The lemon curb fillings really made this sponge cake special.

kak paty...memang mudah bila letak kek dlm remekin ni..nak makan terus je guna sudu...hehehe...saya pun masih belajar lagi nak buat kek span nih...dah elok jadik kecut lak dia...hehhehe

Hello Paty, you ni betul wonderful lady. Satu hari masak ikan masak asam pedas, next day make cakes.
And this one looks sedap best.
I suka, tetapi ta'pernah makan.

Incidentally, I have never seen anyone in my friends blogs buat kueh durian? Kalau you buat, send me telegram......

rindu nak jalan2 blog kak Paty sebenarnya, tapi situasi ct tak mengizinkan. Tapi hari ni dengan senang hati dah boleh BW segala..hehehe

terima kasih kak Paty atas perkongsian tip tu, tapi kalau kita rendam dalam air suam2 kuku tu boleh tak erk. kat rmah ct ni ana nak cari air panas dari pai kak..hahaha. ct pun suka makan kek sponge lagi lembut lagi sedap kak :)
