VIETNAMESE SPRING ROLLS WITH STIR FRIED GLASS NOODLES

From the Stir Fried Glass Noodles, I made this Vietnamese Spring Rolls. The steps in making the Vietnamese spring roll is surprisingly easy:

  • wet the rice paper on one side with hand, but careful not to drench it
  • apply a piece of lettuce, then the fried glass noodles.
  • next fold the rice paper from both sides, then roll up from bottom until you just cover the ingredients
  • at this point put 2 pieces of shrimp on top, a piece of chives, and continue to roll the spring roll till complete
For the Dipping Sauce Recipe (Nuoc Mam Cham)
3 tablespoons Asian fish sauce
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cloves garlic
1 bird's-eye chili
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
To make the Dipping Sauce (Nuoc Mam Cham)

Combine the fish sauce, rice vinegar, 1/2 cup of water, and sugar in a saucepan and place over medium heat. Stir well and cook until just before boiling point is reached, then allow to cool. To serve, finely chop the garlic and chile and stir in the lime juice. Seperti yang saya cakap dalam N3 terdahulu, saya akan memasak suon goreng jika saya mempunyai kulit popiag vietnam yang digelar rice paper. Kalau ada rice paper saya boleh menghasilkan dua resipi sekali gus. inilah hasilnya. Suon goreng tadi bukan sahaja boleh makan dengan nasi malah boleh dijadikan inti untuk popiah Vietnam. Satu sajian yang sihat dan sedap dicicah bersama sos kicap.

masa pi vietnam pun tak tahu nak cari kat mana
nampaklah depa jual vienamese roll ni tapi tak belilah..sebab tak halal

Saya kebetulan jumpa rice paper ini di kedai kat umah. Area saya kawasan perkilangan banyak pekerja Vietnam jadi kedai2 kat cni banyak jual. Rasanya rice paper ini contentnya halal.

emm..kak saya penah buat popia ni..tp saya rasa x berapa sedap fillingnya sbb,dlm tu saya letak ayam,carot,timun dll (semua mentah,kecuali ayam)yg ni saya rasa sedap sbb ada soo hoon tu n dimasak dulu fillingnya..saya nak try yg ni la...rice paper ni ada dijial di pasaraya besar,cam giant,k4 gitu...

Rice paper cuba carikat supermarket yang jual barang2 Jepun, Korea atau expatriate supermarket...biasanya JUSCO, satu paket boleh pakau dua tiga kali,
