THURSDAY BUKA PUASA MENU - BROCCOLI FIRED RICE, CRABMEAT SOUP, ICHI KABIN FRIED CHICKEN, PASSION FRUITS PANA COTTA AND BARLEY-LEMONADE DRINKS

Fried Rice With Broccoli And Eggs

Ichi Kabin Fried Chicken
Crabmeat Soup
Passion Fruits Pana Cotta
Barley-Lemonade Drinks 



So much of Hot & Spicy, Thurday Buka Puasa I made another round of my favourite Chinese Menu, Fried Rice With Broccoli and Eggs, Ichi Kabin Fried Chicken, a popular Nyonya Peranakan fried chicken, Crab Meat Soup, Passion Fruit Pana Cotta for dessert and Barley-Lemonande as drink of the day. Very mild, very simple and very satisfying.
 Ingredients
  • 3 cups small broccoli florets
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, divided
  • 1 tablespoon minced peeled fresh ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups cooked long-grain rice, chilled
  • 1/4 cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
Preparation
  • Steam broccoli, covered, 2 minutes or until crisp-tender; rinse with cold water. Drain; cool.
  • Combine eggs and 2 tablespoons water. Heat 1 teaspoon vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add egg mixture; stir-fry 30 seconds or until soft-scrambled, stirring constantly. Remove egg mixture from pan.
  • Add 2 teaspoons vegetable oil to pan. Add ginger and garlic; stir-fry 30 seconds. Add rice; stir-fry 3 minutes. Add broccoli, and broth; cook 1 minute. Add cooked eggs, soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt; stir-fry 1 minute or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with green onions.

Khamis kembali dengan menu Cina, kadang-kadang perut ini perlu rehat seketika dengan masakan yang pedas dan panas. Resipi-resipi menu Cina ini adalah ringan, tidak pedas dan bersesuaian dengan badan yang sedang berpuasa. Untuk kali ini saya masak nasi goreng brokoli, ayam goreng ichi kabin, dan sup isi ketam. Untuk pemcuci mulut saya buat pana cotta buah markisa dan minuman pembuka puasa ialah air barli lemon.

Kepada yang berminat dengan masakan Cina menu di atas dan kombinasi sajian amat sesuai sekali.

Salam Anymz, memang kena panjanglah tajuknya, 3 menu utama 1 dessert dan 1 minuman masukkan sekali jadi 1 menu berbuka.... macam menu di kedai pula ya!!!
