STIR FRIED BEAN SPROUTS WITH CHIVES/ TAUGEH GORENG KUCAI


Stir Fried Bean Sprouts With Chives



A very simple dish and delicious. Even better if you don't over cooked it.  Make it crunchy wow....... I just ate it with any omelette, good enough. Minimum budget, healthy and save your time and money.

INGREDIENTS
5 cups bean sprouts/ 5 cawan taugeh
1 cup chives cut into 1" / 1 cawan kucai yang dipotong 1"
1/2 cup fresh shrimp/ 1/2 cawan udang hidup
1 onion slices/ 1 bawang besar dimayang
3 red chilies cut diagonal/ 3 biji cili merah potong menyerong
5 tbsp vegetable oil/ 5 sdb minyak sayur
3 tbsp sesame oil/ 3 sdb minyak bijan
1/2  cup chicken stock/ 1/2 cawan stock ayam
3 tbsp light soya salts/ 3 sdb kicap cair
METHOD
  1. Heat up cooking oil and sesame oil. Stir fry onion and red chilies. Add in shrimps and chicken stock, soya sauce./ Panaskan minyak masak dan minyak biji. Tumis bawang besar dan cili merah. Masukan stok ayam, kicap cair. 
  2. Add bean sprouts and chives Stir fry for 5 minutes and ready to serve./ Akhir sekali masukkan taugeh dan kucai. Kacau rata. Masak lima minit dan angkat untuk dihidang.

Taugeh Goreng Kucai boleh dikategorikan sayur ekonomi. Memang mudah dan murah menyediakanya. Sedap dimakan panas-panas dan lebih menyelera kalau digandingkan dengan telur dadar. Bagi saya dua kombinasi ini cukup untuk menu satu hari - Jimat......
