BREAD BUTTER PUDDING


This is amazing !!!!! ...for the same ingredients you can either steam or bake. It's my family favorite, and for Mother's Day Special I posted 3 version of the Bread Butter Pudding:-
For this Steam  Chocolate Bread Pudding I blended all ingredients.

  • Steam Chocolate Bread Butter Pudding
  • Steam Vanilla Bread Butter Pudding
  • Bake Bread Butter Pudding.
These puddings are perfect with custard sauce, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, honey or even maple syrup.


INGREDIENTS
4 eggs / 4 biji telur
8 slices of bread / 8 keping roti
50 gm sugar / 50 gm sugar
300 ml fresh milk / 300 ml susu segar
3 tbsp melted butter / 3 sdb mentega cair
PREPARATIONS
  1. Slice bread and arrange onto the mould./Potong roti dan susun dalam dulang pembakar
  2. Mix together the whole egg yolk and sugar. / Pukul telur dengan gula
    Warm up fresh milk, cream and vanilla pod./ Panaskan susu dan vanilla
  3. Add melted butter / Masukkan mentega cair
    Pour onto the egg mixture mix together./Tuangkan ke dalam adunan telur
  4. Strain the egg mixture. / Tapis
    Pour over the  bread and bake at 190C, approximating 30 minutes.//Tuang adunan kedalam susunan roti dan bakar pada 190 C lebih kurang 30 minutes.
    Slice to desire amount for individual serving and best served with vanilla ice cream./ Potong ikut cita rasa masing dan hidang bersama sauce atau pun ais krim
 VANILLA CUSTARD SAUCE

Steam Bread Butter Pudding
This easy recipe for vanilla custard sauce (also known as creme anglaise) takes much less time to prepare than traditional recipes because cornstarch/custard powder speeds up the thickening.

300 ml fresh milk / 300 ml susu segar - I used evaporated milk
4 egg yolks / 4 biji kuning telur
50 gm sugar / 50 gm gula
15 gm custard powder / 15 tepung custar (lebih kurang 1-  1 1/2 sdb)
vanilla essence / esen vanilla

With Custard/Vanilla Sauce
  1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, scald milk. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk the sugar and egg yolks until they are pale yellow and have thickened to the ribbon stage. Add cornstarch, whisking until smooth, and then the vanilla. / Panaskan susu. Dalam mangkuk yang lain pukul telur, gula sehingga berubah warna dan agak pekat. Masukkan tepung kastard atau tepung jagung kacau rata sehingga lincin dan masukkan vanila

  2. Very gradually add the milk to the egg mixture and return to low heat, whisking until mixture coats the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and strain into a heatproof bowl or container. Place in an ice bath until cold. Refrigerate, covered, up to two days./ Perlahan-lahan masukkan susu panas ke dalam adunan telur sambil dikacau di atas api kecil. Alihkan dari api dan tapis.
Baked version  with maple syrup - You can add raisins or almond flakes

Saya suka resipi ini mudah, ringkas dan yang paling best boleh dengan resipi yang sama boleh dikukus dan juga dibakar. Ini favorite anak-anak, amat disukai kalau disediakan sos kastad atau sos vanilla. Sedap juga dimakan bersama dengan sirap maple.

Untuk resipi Steam Chocolate Bread Pudding ni saya satukan semua bahan, tambahkan 2 sdb serbuk koko dan blend semua menjadi halus dan lincin dan terus kukus. terpulang pada selera masing-masing, anda boleh pilih untuk kukus mahupun untuk bakar, untuk blend halus mahupun menyusun kepingan roti.

Paling penting ini merupakan resipi pencuci mulut yang mudah dan vesertail .Biasanya resipi ini menggunakan roti yang berusia satu hari, kalau agak-agak ada lebihan roti tu jangan buang buat resipi ini, ataupun dalam situasi ketika membuat sandwich, kerak-kerak dan reja-reja roti pun boleh dibuat. - PERFECT leftover ingredients to transform into delicious menu. Ok kepada semua ibu-ibu SELAMAT HARI IBU ya... Apa menu HARI IBU???? Saya plan nak ajak teman-teman ke small HI-TEA di PATYSKITCHEN. Nanti ya saya masukkan dalam N3 esok.
