DONUT UBI MERAH ALA CHEF FARAH QUINN/SWEET POTATO DONUT


This fried sweet potato donut recipe was from the Indonesian sexy chef, Ala Chef Farah Quinn TV program. Look's yummy and I made a try. Recipes yield 40 donuts but you can cut to half. It is easy to prepare. You just need to mix everything in and leave the dough for an hour rest, roll and cut using cookie cutter. Deep fry till golden brown and dip with white chocolate and colorful chocolate beads.  Look's fancy and sexy as  Chef Farah Quinn, so.... This is it!!!!



INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g  all-purpose flour / 500 g tepung gandum
  • 200 g mashed sweet potato / 200 g keledek yang sudah direbus dan dilecek
  • 1  cup sugar / 1 cawan gula
  • pinch of salt
  • 11 g dry yeast / 11 g yis kering (1 packet)
  • eggs / 4 biji telur
  • 75 g butter / 75 g mentega
  • 60 g milk / 60 g susu
  • 50 g water / 50 g air
  • white chocolate / chocolate putih
  • chocolate beads / cokolat urai
  • sufficient oil for deep frying / Minyak secukupnya untuk menggoreng

PREPARATIONS


  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl except white chocolate and chocolate beads.
  • With floured hands,lightly knead the dough until smooth 
  • Leave the dough in the mixing bowl in a warm place for about 1 hours.
  • Roll out the dough into 1/4 inch thickness on a floured surface.
  • Dip doughnut cutter in flour.Use to cut-out doughnuts.
  • Heat oil for deep frying.
  • Carefully drop doughnuts into hot oil, only a few at a time.
  • Fry, turning once, for about 3 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oil and drain on paper.
  • Dip with white chocolate and sprinkle with colorful beads if you like.

Rasanya kalau hendak makan di rumah buat setengah adunan cukup. Resipi ini macam resipi donut yang lain yang banyak kerenah. Resipi ini memerlukan semua bahan dicampur sekali diuli, diperap 1 jam, canai dan terap dalam bentuk acuan donut. Goreng dan hias ikut cita rasa masing-masing. Sesuai buat minum petang sedap, lembut and sexy macam Farah Quinn.
