PUDING LAPIS KOKO/COCO LAYER PUDDING



Puding Lapis Koko/Coco Layer Pudding

A simple dessert to compliment any lunch or dinner. I used to prepare this and store in the fridge. Anytime feel like having something sweet, it's always there. Easy to prepare, and if you are not patience enough just do two colors and make into a small mold.

INGREDIENTS
10 gm jelly powder/ 10 gm serbuk agar-agar
1 can evaporated milk / 1 tin susu cair
1/2 cup sugar/ 1/2 cawan gula
4 cups water/ 4 cawan air
5 tbsp coco powder/ 5 sdb serbuk koko
METHOD
  1. Mix jelly powder, sugar and water. Mix well and bring to boil./Campur serbuk agar-agar, air dan gula. Masak diatas api sederhana sehingga mendidih.
  2. Add in evaporated milk/ Masukkan susu cair.
  3. Divide into 2 portion. One leave it plain, the other one add in coco powder./ Bahagi kepada dua. Satu bahagian bahagian dibiarkan kosong dan satu bahagian lagi diletakkan serbuk koko.
  4. Pour the plain color in a jelly and allow to cool. When almost cool pour in the coco layer./Tuangkan bahagian plain dahulu ke dalam acuan, biarkan agak sejuk baru tuangkan bahagian koko. Sejukan.

Sesuai dijadikan pencuci mulut lebih-lebih lagi dalam cuaca panas. Mudah dibuat, tetapi kalau tidak ada kesabaran nak menunggu bahagian bawah sejuk dahulu dan tuangkan bahagian atas, boleh juga dibuat plain aje, masuk kedalam acuan kecil-kecil, satu warna plain dani  satu lagi warna koko. Semua bergantung kepada citarasa masing-masing.

Hai Izah, memang sesuai untuk cuaca panas ini. Buat sejuk anak tekak. Boleh modify ikut citarasa sendiri.
