MASAK LEMAK PUCUK PAKU SIPUT SEDUT


Masak Lemak Pucuk Paku Siput Sedut

This is an awesome "kampung" dish. I called this dish 2 in 1, we normally cooked these separately but this recipe add up both. Very delicious,and palatable.


INGREDIENTS
1/2 kg siput sedut wash and boiled / 1/2 kg siput sedut basuh dan rebus
1 group pucuk paku - blanch/ 1 ikat pucuk paku dicelur dahulu
1 turmeric leaf/ 1 helai daun kunyit
2 cups thick coconut milk/ 2 cawan santan pekat
2 cups thin coconut milk/ 2 cawan santan cair
salts to taste/ garam secukup rasa
1 asam keping / 1 asam keping
Blended Ingredients
17 bird's chili / 17 biji cili padi
1 onion / 1 biji bawang besar
1 1/2 inch turmeric root/ 1 1/2 inch kunyit hidup

Blend all ingredients and put aside.


METHOD
Mix blended ingredients with 2 cups thin coconut milk in a  pot and bring to boil. Add in turmeric leaf , salts and asam keping, let it bubbling. Add in siput, pucuk paku and thick santan. Sim for a while and off the heat. Ready to serve./ Masukkan bahan blend dan 2 cawan santan cair ke dalam periuk. Masak hingga mendidih. Masukkan daun kunyit,garam dan asam keping. Akhir sekali masukkan pucuk paku dan siput serta santan pekat. Biarkan mendidih, angkat dan sedia dihidang.

Masakan kampung yang menyelerakan. Satu kombinasi yang baik antara pucuk paku dan siput sedut. 2 - 1, biasanya dimasak secara berasingan, tapi resipi ini mengabungkan dua bahan utama dalam satu masakan. Sedap dimakan bersama sambal belacan, ikan masin dan nasi panas.
