Salad Hijau yang wajib setiap kali menyediakan nasi tomato atau briyani. Mudah menyediakanya dan sajian yang sihat. Untuk dressingnya saya menggunakan dressing yang mudah antara cuka dan minyak zaiton. Lain-lain bahan seperti limau, oregano dan lada hitam bergantung kepada selera masing-masing. Apa pun salad ini sedap maka begitu aje..segar dan ranggup.

Tossed  Green Salad

It's really simple, and the ingredients are crispy and delicious and can't be topped! It's one of those easy salad recipes you're bound to create over and over again!

2 hearts romaine lettuce, rinsed and chopped
4-5 leaves red leaf lettuce, rinsed and chopped

2 small plum tomatoes, diced
1 small cucumber, peeled and sliced
1 large carrot, peeled and chopped
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 onion thinly slice
2-3 tablespoons vinegar
salt and black pepper, to taste
pinch of dried oregano

In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and carrots. You can choose to premix the dressing or dress the salad in the bowl. Either way, combine the oil and vinegar, mix in the salt, pepper and oregano and toss away! Serve this salad as an appetizer, refreshing side dish, or to top you off at the end of a meal. Some fresh crusty bread goes perfectly with this fresh salad recipe!
