This egg pudding is easy to prepare and what make it greats is that most if not all of the ingredients you will already have in your cupboards, things like milk, cream, sugar, eggs, and jelly. 

This pudding does not involve cooking. You only need two bowls, one for  for whipping the eggs, sugar and milk and second for mixing the jelly. So the first step is to whisk in the eggs, sugar and milk. 

The next step is mix in separate bowls, the jelly. And that is it. Scoop the custard into pretty bowls or glasses and steam. Leave it to cool and top with the jelly mixture. Refrigerate for a few hours and ready to serve.

1 can evaporated milk
1 cup water
6  large eggs
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons purevanillaextract
1 tablespoon custard powder
1 packet instant fruit jelly powder


Whisk eggs, sugar, water and milk in a mixing bowl. Mix well. Add vanilla and custard powder

Scoop into ramekins and steam for 15 - 20 minutes

Leave to cool.

In the meantime, prepare the jelly mixture as per the packaging instruction.

Pour jelly on top of the steamed custard. Chill in refrigerator for a few hour.

The instant jelly came in different flavor and color such as lime, lemon, strawberry, grapes and apple. You can choose any of your favorite choice.. You can also top with whipp cream if you like.


Inilah pudding yang selalu saya buat kalau ada majlis atau undangan makan di rumah. Mudah dan ringkas, malah boleh disediakan beberapa hari lebih awal. Texture pudding lemak dan lembut. Anda boleh mevariasikan pudding ini dengan menggunakan berbagai perisa jelly yang ada di pasaran.
