This is another Padang dish that became popular in Malaysia. You can use beef, chicken or even fish. I have made this before using chicken. Very simple and very satisfying. Best go with rice and soup. All you need are
:
INGREDIENTS
1 whole fish cut into small pieces / 1 ekor ikan potong kecil\salts and turmeric powder/ garam dan kuntit
oil for frying/ minyak untuk menggoreng
Spread salts and turmeric powder to fish. Coat well, Leave aside for a few minutes and deep fry till cook. Remove and leave aside / Lumurkan garam dan kunyit pada ayam. Perapkan sebentar baru goreng cara deep fry. Angkat, tos dan letak sebelah
For the paste
2 onions / 2 biji bawang besar
1 tsp chicken cubes / 1 sdt serbuk pati ayam
salts to tatste / garam secu\kup rasa
Blend all ingredients and leave aside / Blend semua bahan dan letak sebelah.
- Heat up oil and stir fry the chili paste till fragrant. Add in salts and chicken cubes. If too dry at some water./Panaskan minyak dan tumis bahan blended. Masukkan garam dan kiub ayam. Goreng dan kacau rata.
- Add in fried fish and coat well / Masukkan ikan goreng dan pastikan cili dan ikan digaul rata dan sebati.
