Oats untuk sarapan..itu sebaik-baiknya yang diarankan oleh doktor, tapi biasalah tekak orang Melayu dan kita orang ASIA LEBIH gemar sarapan yang berat-berat..tetapi sekali sekala tukar selera menarik juga..lebih-lebih lagi jika tekak menginginkan sesuatu yang manis sedikit.
Breakfast Oats ini mudah menyediakan..5 bahan dalam masa lima minit..ha..ha...senang dan sedap. Untuk menambahkan kelazatan pada oats ini saya masukkan sedikit pisang yang dilecek...perghhh sikecil dirumah pasti mengemarinya..tarikan warna strawberry dan pisang boleh menjadi tarikkan pada sikecil yang sukar makan...
Breakfast Fruity Oats
- 1 cup milk of choice, or water
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 ripe banana
- juice of one lemon (~3 tbsp), or 1 tsp lemon extract
- pinch of salt
- 5 - 6 strawberries diced
Instructions
- Bring milk (I use 1/2 c almond milk and 1/2 c water) to a boil, add oats, and reduce heat to medium.
- Thoroughly mash the banana and add to the oats. Stir!
- Once more of the liquid has absorbed, add lemon juice and salt. Stir.
- When you’re pleased with the consistency of the oatmeal, transfer to a bowl. Top oatmeal with banana, strawberries and add another splash of your milk of choice, along with any other additional toppings (shredded coconut, nuts, etc.).
