Cucur Udang Geragau |
Cucur Udang Geragau is another perfect tea time menu. Udang geragau is a type of dried shrimps, used to make" cencalok." I got this from a friend who returned from her Pangkor trip. Have plenty of it, used some for my Mee Rebus and some for this cucur. It's nice especially when served hot.
INGREDIENTS
3 cups flour/ 3 cawan tepung
1 tsp mauripan yeast/ 1 sudu kecil mauripan
1 egg/ 1 biji telur
1/2 cup dried shrimps / 1/2 cawan udang geragau
1 onion chopped /1 labu bawang besar dicincang
1 1/2 cup water /1 1/2 cawan air- saya kurangkan sedikit
4 stalk chives cut into 1" /5 pokok daun kucai potong 1"
1 tsp tumeric powder /1 sdt serbuk kunyit
salt to taste / garam secukup rasa
METHOD
- Blend shrimps, egg and water/ Blend udang, telur dan air hingga hancur.
- Combine flour and yeast and mix well. Leave aside for 30 minutes/Gaul tpg dan yis sekejap, masukkan semua bahan dan gaul rata. Perapkan sekejap lebih kurang 30 minit, Shape into balls and deep fried/Jemput2 dan goreng, cucur ni lembut dan bulat2. enak dicicah sos cili.

Sajian petang yang menyelerakan, lebih-lebih lagi dimakan panas-panas dan dihidangkan bersama kopi O. Saya memang suka cucur ini. Ralit bila makan. Lebih menyelera jika dicicah dengan cili sos.
