PIYANJI - BANGLADESH


Juadah ini lebih kurang macam Onion Bhaji dari India dan Pakora dari Pakistan. Menggunakan tepung kacang kuda dan bawang besar hiris bersama cili hijau. Cara menyediakkanya sama seperti kita membuat cucur udang. Juadah popular di Bangladesh. Sedap makan bersam sos asam


Bangladesh - Peyani

·         Onion: 1 big or 2 small
·         Green chillies: 2-3; totally depends on your preference and tolerence of heat.
·         Nigella seeds: 1/3 tsp
·         Chick pea flour / besan: 3 tbsp (more or less, adjust the thickness of the batter)
·         Bi card of soda: 1/8 tsp
·         Salt
·         Oil

Method:

1.      Wash, peel and very finely chop the onion in half moon shape. Place these in a big bowl and salt. Mash with your hands so that juices start to come out form the onion. Chop the green chillies very finely and add.
2.  Heat up oil and fry as you are frying fritters till golden brown.
3. Removed and drain excess oil
