MARBLE BREAD PUDDING / PUDDING ROTI MARBLE

It seem that this pudding is the favorite among the Malaysian-Malay blogger. Many had tried and I just made this for my final day Syawal fasting. I love the texture of the pudding and I love the taste, not too sweet, soft and creamy.This pudding used the powdered jelly, so make sure that you get the correct amount of water to ensure you get the right consistency. You can play around with the color, it's really lovely easy and fun making it.

Ingredients :

4 pieces of white bread / 4 keping roti putih
2 eggs / 2 biji telur
1/2 cup condensed milk /1/2 cawan susu pekat
170 ml evaporated milk / 170 ml susu cair
10 g agar-agar powder /10 g agar-agar (lebih kurang 1 packet)
1/2 cup sugar /
1/2 cawan gula
2 tablespoons butter/margarine




 ~ melted / 2 sdb mentega - cairkan3 1/2 cups water /3 1/2 cawan air
2 tablespoons cocoa powder (if you want a choclate & plain marble - skip this if prefer colorful rainbow) - 2 sdb serbuk koko jika ingin marble koko dan plain - tinggalkan ini jika inginkan puding marble  warna-warni
PREPARATIONS
1. Bring to boil, 3 cups water, agar-agar powder and sugar./ Masak 3 cawan air bersama gula dan serbuk agar-agar
2. In the food processor or a blender, blend together bread, condensed milk pekat,evaporated milk and 1/2 cup of water./Blend roti, telur, susu cair, susu pekat dan 1/2 cawan air.
3. Pour the blended ingredients into the agar-agar mixture./ Tuangkan bahan blend kedalam adunan agar-agar,
4. Add in the melted butter/margarine and stir well. Remove from heat./ Masukkan mentega cair. Alihkan dari api.
5. Divide the mixture into 2. Add cocoa powder/chocolate emulco into one bowl and leave the other as it is. /  Bahagikan adunan kepada 2 bahagian dan warnakan. Saya bahagikan adunan kepada 4 bahagian mengikut warna pelangi
6. Spoon a ladleful of plain mixture into the mould/tin. Then a ladleful of the chocolate mixture. Repeat the procedure until all the mixture are used up. Be fast./ Sudukan setiap warna ke dalam loyang buat seperti membuat kek marble. harus cepat kerana agar-agar ini akan cepat keras
7. Let it set in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour./ Sejukkan dalam fridge sekurang-kurangnya 1 jam, baru dipotong

Resipi pudding yang ramai udah mencubanya, saya baru aje nak mencuba, jalan-jalan cari resipi pudding yang mudah dan ringkas...lalu terjumpa di dapur Izzah - IML, saya pun book marked  dan test..wow...sedap.. tekturnya lembut, manis-manis buah gitu , lembut dan berkrim. Sesuai buat pencuci mulut. Bagi yang pandai bermain dengan warna boleh membuat lakaran dengan agar-agar ini.. apa pun kena pantas kerana pudding ini mudah keras.
