RASPBERRY FRENCH LOAF BAKED BREAD PUDDING WITH CARAMEL SAUCE

Bread pudding is a great way to make old leftover bread into a tasty, easy dessert. You can use any white bread you like for this recipe, but sturdy French bread works best. Yields six servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 French bread - slice
  • 6 eggs 
  • 350 ml evaporated milk
  • 75 gm sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp tsp nutmeg  
  • 1 cup raspberry
For The Filling
  • 25 gm oats
  • 75 gm chopped almond
  • 125 gm dates - chopped
  • 50 gm sugar
  • 125 ml lemon juice
  • 2 " cinnamon
For the Fillings 
Cook all ingredients and set a side

  1. To Assemble The Pudding
  2. Cut the bread in cubes and place in a loaf pan.
  3. Pour half of the fillings over bread.
  4. Repeat process and make 3 layers.
  5. Beat the eggs in a bowl until frothy, then add the sugar, vanilla and nutmeg. Beat well.
  6. Pour the milk mixture over the bread and toss together
  7. Let soak for 30 minutes. While the bread soaks, heat the oven to 300 degrees.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes or until custard is set.Topped with fresh raspberry.
  9. Serve warm or cold, with whipped cream or ice cream.

Rasanya pudding roti ini memand tidak jemu dimakan sebagai pencuci mulut mudah dan ringkas. Kali ini saya menggunakan roti Perancis dan setiap lapisan roti saya letakkan inti yang dibuat seperti kastard. Inti pada pudding ini diperbuat dari oats kurma dan badam cincang.  Sesuai dimakan bersama krim putar atau pun ais krim.
