LOMPANG CERIA / HAPPY LOMPANG

 I believe I had made a few entries on this. This time to differentiate with my previous entries I named this kuih as HAPPY LOMPANG or LOMPANG CERIA. This is also another favorite kuih during the fasting month, simple, cheap and easy to prepare. All you need are rice flour and sugar. Make colorful selection of your favorite. I love soft pinkish color..look's cheerful ha..... so suit the name as LOMPANG CERIA. It is easy to prepare, boil sugar in water and add to the dry ingredient, color and steam for 15 minutes. Serve with white grated coconut. This kuih is also perfect for functions, it brighten up the main table.

INGREDIENTS
2 cups rice flour
1/2 cup sago or corn flour
1 cup sugar
4 cups water
grated coconut
pinch of salts
coloring of your favorite choice
PREPARATIONS
  1. Boil 2 cups of water with sugar until sugar dissolve. Leave to cool for a while
  2. Add the remianing 2 cups of water to the flour. Mix well.
  3. Then add in the syrup, mixing well.
  4. Sieve mixture and divide into a few portion of your favorite color.
  5. Steam in a Chinese tea cup for 15 minutes
  6. Serve with white grated coconut.

Mudah, Murah dan Cepat, rasanya itulah tag line yang sesuai untuk kuih ini. kalau lah udah terdesak sangat untuk adakan juadah manis, dan kesuntukan masa untuk mikirkan apa, inilah kuih yang paling sesuai. Pilihlah warna yang menceriakan pasti yang mengnikmati hidangan akan terasa ceria melihatnya.

Lompang ini lompang biasa aje dek kerana saya sudah membuat beberapa N3 mengenai lompang, saya namakan lompang seria senang untuk tagging nanti.
