BANANA SWIRL CAKE
adapted from - the littleteochew
TOTAL TIME: 1 hr 20 minutes
Ingredients:
180g unsalted utter
180g castor sugar
2 extra large eggs, lightly beaten
250g cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking Soda
220g bananas, mashed
50 g dairy whipped cream (I used evaporated milk)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar till light and creamy.
Pour in eggs gradually and beat till creamy.
Add in whip cream, mashed bananas and banana essence and mix well.
Add in cake flour, baking powder and baking soda, and beat for a short while, just to make sure everything is incorporated.
Pour into an 8-inch round tray.
Bake at 175 degree celcius for about 50 to 60 mins, or until cooked. * I divided the batter into 2 half with the original color half I added some chocolate emulco.Take 2 tbsp spoon natural top with 2 tbsp chocolate portion and continue the process until complete
Kek pisang yang lembap dan lembut. Resipi saya ambil dari little teochew dan oleh sedikit dengan menambahkan chocolate emulco untuk me - marblekanya. Memang sedap dimakan panas-panas dan cukup sesuai sebagai sajian minuman petang.
