Sunday is here again, time really flies so fast, next week I have one birthday celebration. My youngest daughter Eyba turns 14 on Tuesday, so today we plan to do some shopping in Penang. Plan to leave for Penang by 10 am, I got breakfast ready as early as 8.00 am, Fried Spaghetti and Peanut Butter Pancake. Filling enough to stand until lunch.
INGREDIENTS
1 packet thin spaghetti/ 1 paket spaghetti
1/4 cup olive oil / 1/4 cawan minyak zaiton
1 tablespoon salt / 1 sdb garam
1 onion chopped / 1 biji bawang besar dicincang5 tablespoons homemade sambal (blend red chili, onion, garlic and shrimp paste) / 5 sdb cili pes
1/2 cup shrimp / 1/2 cawan udang basah
1/2 cup shredded chicken / 1/2 cawan isi daging ayam
1/2 cup shrimp / 1/2 cawan udang basah

5 button mushroom, slice thinly / 5 cendawan button hiris nipis-nipis
3 stalk green mustard / 3 batang sawi potong
1 tablespoon oyster sauce / 1 sdb sos tiram
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce / 1 sdb kicap pekat
2 tablespoon soy sauce / 2 sdb kicap cair
1 tbsp tomato sauce / 1 sdb sos tomato
3 tablespoon olive oil for cooking / 3 sdb minyak
1/2 cup chicken stock / 1/2 cawan stok ayam
PREPARATION

PREPARATION
- Cook spaghetti until soft in a pot of boiling water. Add olive oil so that spaghetti did not sticking. Add salt./ Masak spaghetti dalam air panas. Toskan dan masukkan garam dan minyak zaiton.
- In a big skillet, heat olive oil on medium. Saute onion till soft. Add in chili paste. Stir fry till fragrant. Add chicken and shrimps. Mix well. Add water/stock. Then add oyster sauce, dark soy sauce,light soy sauce and tomato sauce. Add in mustard stalk. Stir. Then add cooked spaghetti. Stir well. Add green mustard. Coat well. Let it cook for about 5 minutes. Turn off stove. Serve warm./ Panaskan minyak dalam kuali, tumis bawang besar hingga lembut. Masukkan pes cili dan goreng hingga garing. masukkan udang dan isi ayam. kacau rata. Masukkan stok/air, dan semua bahan perisa. Masukkan juga batang sawi dan spaghetti gaul rata. Biarkan atas api selama 5 minit dan padamkam api. Sedia dihidang panas-panas.

Minggu depan 8hb Mac 2011, anak dara saya yang paling bongsu akan menyambut ulang tahunya yang ke 14. Saya cadang nak cari sesuatu sebagai hadiah ulang tahunnya, cadang hari ini nak ke Penang, jadi saya siapkan sarapan awal. Sarapan pagi minggu ini ialah Spaghetti Goreng dan Peanut Butter Pancake. Rasanya cukup untuk melapik perut sehingga lunch di Penang nanti. Spaghetti Goreng ini saya buat cara mi goreng manakala pancake saya masukkan peanut butter dalam adunan. Peanut butter mengikut selera anak-anak kalau yang hendak makan dengan madu, saya sediakan madu, dan kalau yang hendak makan dengan ais krim, saya sediakan ais krim cokolat. Kepada yang masih buntu memikirkan menu sarapan pagi minggu ini, cubalah resipi ini, pasti mengenyangkan. SELAMAT BERHUJUNG MINGGU.
