DINNER MENU - DRIED SHRIMP FRIED RICE AND BABY CABBAGE OYSTER SAUCE



Dried Shrimp Fried Rice






It's only three of us at home today, so I made a simple dinner menu - Dried Shrimp Fried Rice and Baby Cabbage Oyster Sauce.


INGREDIENTS
10 dried chilies - soak/ 10 batang cili kering direndam
7 shallots/ 7 biji bawang merah
3 cloves garlic/ 3 ulas bawang putih
1 onion chopped / 1 biji bawang besar dicincang
3 tbsp dried shrimp soak / 3 sdb udang kering rendam
1 cup fresh shrimp -marinate with turmeric and salts - deep fried/ 1 cawan udang hidup gaul garam kunyit dan goreng
4 cups cooked rice/ 4 cawan nasi
1 tbsp oyster sauce/ 1 sdb sos tiram
salts to taste/ garam secukup rasa
1/2 cup oil/ 1/2 cawan minyak masak
METHOD
  1. Blend dried chilies, shallot, garlic and dried shrimps to form a paste./ Blend cili kering, bawang putih, bawang merahdan udang kering sehingga halus.
  2. Heat up oil, saute onion and add in the blended paste. Stir fry till fragrant. Add in oyster sauce and salts to taste. Finally add in rice. Stir until evenly cooked. Ready to serve./  Panaskan minyak tumiskan bawang besar, masukkan bahan blended tadi dan goreng sehingga garing dan naik baunya. Masukkan sos tiram dan garam secukup rasa. Masukkan nasi dan gaul rata sehingga nasi agak garing.  Sedia dihidang.

Menu makan malam yang ringkas - Nasi Goreng Udang Kering dan Baby Cabbage Oyster Sauce. Lebih enak buat ratah-ratah aje. Lagipun sayur digoreng biar ranggup dan manis sos tiram memang menyelerakan.
